All applicants and those seeking re-employment after a one year absence are required to fill out a Consent and Disclosure form to allow a background investigation. Refusal to submit to the background investigation means that the candidate will not be offered employment. Background investigation includes verification of social security number; prior employment and residence verification; a local, state, and federal criminal background investigation and a search of the sexual offender database.
