I hold a Bachelor of Science Registered Nurse degree and Master of Science in Health Systems Management from George Mason University. As a Registered Nurse, I bring to Healthcare at Home numerous years of experience attained by transitioning successfully through the ranks in health care and health systems management.

As a former Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse providing home based, community and clinical care to individuals and their families, I bring a wealth of knowledge, empathy and experience in understanding the need and importance of providing superior home based companion and health care services. As I traveled the distance every week from Virginia to New York to care for my own mother in her final months of suffering from colon cancer, I gained a greater sensitivity regarding the many complex issues that families face – one of the most important being their need for capable home care assistance. I know the characteristics and qualities clients and families expect in home care providers and home care businesses. I will always use my personal experience as a point of reference with each client and their family member.

Since 1981, I have personally provided home based care to many individuals in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland. In each case, I derived satisfaction from doing the job well and knowing that my clients were happy with the personable, professional and nurturing care they received. Providing health care, especially to the elderly, one of our most vulnerable populations has always been my passion.
